I'd like to report a tragic and outrageous situation involving the dying coral reefs of Thailand's southern Andaman Sea. And this degradation of coral reefs has also been happening in Thailand. And most shocking of all, one of the small speedboats took off right across the reef, right inside the line of buoys that are put there to keep the boats out. What kind of training is given to tour operators about being careful around coral reefs? The driver of that boat should have the boat taken away from him and sold, and the proceeds given to one of the Thai coral reef protection groups.
